Linden House Assisted Living Welcomes New Marketing Coordinator

Linden House welcomes Maryanne Osean to our team as Marketing Coordinator. A seasoned senior living marketer, Maryanne’s experience and enthusiasm make her a valuable member of the Branchlands community.

Linden House’s state-of-art building houses a close-knit community

The new Linden House community intrigued Maryanne. From her first tour, she was impressed by how state-of-the-art the building is. In addition to the building’s bright, beautiful spaces, the community that lives in those spaces sealed the deal.

“The community’s size is ideal—it’s large enough to have the special accoutrements but small enough to feel like a family,” says Maryanne. “Everybody knows each other and forms close relationships.”

It is those close relationships that Maryanne looks forward to most in her new role. She’s excited to build a connection with each resident and educate Charlottesville about what Linden House’s wonderful community offers seniors.

“It’s about being honest about what the community can offer and finding a genuine match for the resident and their family. It’s not about leasing apartments—sometimes I feel more like a counselor than a salesperson,” jokes Maryanne.

“I feel like it is such an honor to work with prospective residents at this stage in their journey. It’s always been a privilege to be part of that decision, at a very special time in their lives.

My job is to honor what the individual wants and needs and to see if we can provide a good match for them.”

A team atmosphere supports each resident

Linden House’s team atmosphere and strong leadership from Branchlands Executive Director brought Maryanne on board. Although she’s only been on the job for a short time, Maryanne loves being a part of Linden House’s team.

“It’s a supportive and fun environment in which everyone pulls together,” says Maryanne of her coworkers. “I’m still learning and look forward to being fully ensconced.”

“We strive to be the best assisted living in Charlottesville—that means working as a team.”

Pet-friendliness and convenient location set Linden House apart

Linden House Marketing Coordinator with her dogAs a dog lover herself, Maryanne knows how important the human-pet bond is, especially for seniors. She wants people to know how pet-friendly the Linden House community truly is.

“Not only are we pet-friendly but Linden House also makes pet care available so that furry companions can be taken care of alongside their owner.”

Another perk of living within the Branchlands community: location, location, location. Branchlands is in a beautiful, convenient area of Charlottesville. “I love the whole environment and with convenient access to Route 29, you’re close to so much,” says Maryanne, who also notes the beautiful walking trails and proximity of The Center as geographic benefits.

Maryanne is excited to be part of the Linden House team and culture that deeply cares about resident happiness, needs, and wants.

“It’s a lovely place for seniors to call home. I feel proud to market it.”
